To shower during monitoring:
1. Take off Sense and leave it outside the bathroom (as moisture will damage it). Remove the chest stickers and throw them away.
2. Put on the shower cap and cover your hair, ears and eyebrows – this will stop the electrodes from getting wet.
Tip:
Hang the shower cap in the shower on the provided suction hook when you get home from your appointment. This will help you to remember to wear it when you go to take a shower!
3. Once you're completely dry, put Sense back on:
a. Reconnect QuickConnect.
b. Apply new stickers to your chest.
c. Reconnect the chest lead.
d. Apply extra tape on any sections of the ECG cable that have too much slack.
