Set up Seer Sight

During monitoring, keep in view of Seer Sight so it captures your events on its built-in camera and microphone.

Your medical professional will review this footage when making their diagnosis.

Expand the headings to find out how.

How to set up Seer Sight

To set up Seer Sight:

1. Place Seer Sight in a quiet spot, in the room where you'll spend the most time – make sure the camera is facing you.

2. Raise the camera pole:

a. Release the bottom latch of the camera pole. Hold the bottom of the camera with your other hand and lift the camera pole carefully.

b. Once this section is fully extended, lock the bottom latch and then repeat with the second and third latches.

3. Plug Seer Sight into power:

a. Plug the power adapter into Seer Sight with the flat part of the connector face-up – it will click when it locks into place.

b. Plug the adapter into a power point – Seer Sight's light will stop flashing when Seer Sight is connected to power.

How to move Seer Sight

If you'd like to spend more than 1 hour in another room, move Seer Sight with you so it can continue to capture your events.

To do this:

1. Unplug Seer Sight from power.

2. Lower the camera pole carefully, holding the base of the camera.

3. Wheel Seer Sight to your new location.

4. Place Seer Sight in this new room with the camera facing you.

If you need to move out of view of Seer Sight (e.g. to attend an appointment, or go to the bathroom), you don't need to take Seer Sight with you, leave it where it is. Try to limit your time away from Seer Sight to up to 1 hour per day.
