Expand the accordions to find out about home monitoring and the equipment you'll use during your study.
Home monitoring is a comfortable and safe method of recording brain, heart, and video data from the comfort of your home.
This assists your medical professional to pinpoint the cause of your events.
What will monitoring be like?
First, you’ll attend an appointment to get connected with Sense.
Then, you'll take some equipment home with you. When you get home, you'll set up Sight so it can video/audio record your events.
Once you set up Sight, you can go about your life as normal and even disconnect Sense to shower.
You will sleep with Sense on, as your brain changes during sleep.
What happens after monitoring?
At the end of the study, you'll remove Sense and wash out the electrodes before returning the equipment. A qualified professional will review the data and send a report to your physician.
The Seer Home equipment is a suite of technologies that collect and report brain, heart, and video data of your events. The key pieces of equipment are Sense, Sight, the Take-Home Kit, WaterTabs® and the Seer app.
Sense is a lightweight device that you wear at home during monitoring.
It rests over your shoulders and connects via a magnet at the top of your head. Sense collects your brain and heart data.
It sends this data to Sight which uploads it to Seer Cloud for review.
Sight captures your events throughout your study on its built-in camera and microphone.
At the end of your study, a qualified professional reviews this data.
Your Take-home Kit includes everything you need for monitoring while you're at home.
WaterTabs® are adhesive tabs designed to secure the electrodes to your head during your study.
Seer – Epilepsy Management app (the Seer app), allows you to log events as they happen and manage your medication.
